My Story

My journey into the world of computers commenced during my formative years in primary school when I was captivated by the allure of technology. This fascination only grew stronger as I eagerly embraced computer office packages in grade 8, yearning to explore the boundless possibilities within the digital realm.

During high school, my dedication to software development solidified, and I knew that this was the path I wanted to pursue professionally. In highschool, I persued computer studies as one of my favourite subjects from 2012 to 2015, honing my skills, and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Post high school, my thirst for knowledge led me to Alphax College, where I embarked on a transformative 3-month web design and development course from october to end of 2015. This pivotal experience further fueled my passion for technology and ignited my aspiration to make a difference through software engineering.

But my quest for excellence didn't end there. In January, I eagerly enrolled at Zalego Academy for their intensive 5-month software development course, which encompassed both web and mobile app development. From January to May 2015, I immersed myself in coding, embracing challenges with enthusiasm, and relishing the opportunity to expand my expertise. My drive pushed me to stay at Zalego Academy from May to September 2016, pursuing a course in Information Security and Ethical Hacking  to refine my skills even further.

With a strong foundation and an ever-growing knowledge base, I set my sights on higher education. In January 2018, I proudly joined Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. This academic journey was not only intellectually stimulating but also profoundly rewarding, shaping me both professionally and personally. In August 2021, I stood proud as a graduate, ready to take on the world as a software engineer.

Throughout my journey, I have actively sought real-world experience by taking on freelance software engineering projects. I have also worked as a senior software engineer for several companies. This practical experience has deepened my appreciation for the transformative power of technology and has further fueled my passion for creating innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.

As I grow in my career as a senior software engineer, I am also driven by aspirations to become a consultant. My expertise in various domains, including android engineering and back-end development, has positioned me well to guide and mentor others in their technological endeavors. My ability to listen intently, analyze meticulously, and craft tailored strategies enables me to provide valuable insights and transformative solutions.

With each step I take, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead as I combine my technical acumen and my passion for empowering others as a consultant. I am committed to embracing challenges, driving innovation, and making a meaningful impact in the ever-evolving landscape of technology.
